Deceptive Love

I am weak and your grasp is strong,
my addiction to you drags me along
slowly destroying my life,
you bring me unnecessary strife.
How can I escape your ways of deception?
lying in wait to destroy
pulling me along, I believe all that you say.
You are all lies
I shouldn't allow myself to be taken,
I shouldn't trust in foolish words,
words that mean the world to me.
My life being shattered by dishonesty
as I believe in your beautiful lies
and my heart cries for you.
I just want to be with you
in all that you say, all that you do
please be honest, please be true
for I love you.
