Poetic Verses
My Imaginary Friend
I once had an imaginary friend
that no one else could see,
at the age of five and six
he was the right one for me.
I would play day after day
with my invisible best friend,
I called him, Mr. Nobody
and with him there was no end.
He would get into trouble,
and it wasn't even my fault.
I would point the finger of blame,
I still do that as an adult.
I will never forget the invisible pal
that I had back as a kid,
memories of such a wonderful friend
and all the fun things we did.
When I need someone to talk to
Mr. Nobody is always there,
he will forever be my best friend
as we are still the perfect pair.
that no one else could see,
at the age of five and six
he was the right one for me.
I would play day after day
with my invisible best friend,
I called him, Mr. Nobody
and with him there was no end.
He would get into trouble,
and it wasn't even my fault.
I would point the finger of blame,
I still do that as an adult.
I will never forget the invisible pal
that I had back as a kid,
memories of such a wonderful friend
and all the fun things we did.
When I need someone to talk to
Mr. Nobody is always there,
he will forever be my best friend
as we are still the perfect pair.
