Before Eyes
Blink and you will miss the moment
Like lens in camera pictured to own it
Focused we were to take it all in
Departure all mine setback my sin
Watched from near was her in action
Stopped motion was main attraction
Freezing her frame by frame
Mesmerized just enough my only shame
Each picture shot by eyes that yearned
Where hearts afire were fueled to burn
This slide show that would run through one
Whose need to love not just anyone
Each movement hers played great a role
Bringing this shoot a soul to hold
In awe where aperature was set to capture
Details spelling ones happily after
In mind our reel a film now plays
Laid out in order since that first day
No wasted pose each shot proposed
Her innocence mine to behold
Hold we did and still hold to
The best of her in mind she drew
Pictured forever where time never severs
The best of encounters in heart hung forever
