Forgiveness a word that spells how one mends
When errors of way loses a friend
The fallout costing what may not lend
The need to just breathe, again but just when
Stupid the word that comes now and again
To wreak all it's havoc even when penned
Yet here we return to ask for forgiveness
The point for today, this write my souls business
Miss the warmth felt from screen now gone cold
Sunshine's become my loss taking toll
On what was built now leaving despair
Destroying the word forgiveness that cares
Sometimes in ones errors things too are said
Brings hurt to the surface and the word too reject
When thoughts of forgiveness keeps one up in bed
Feeling the words that hurt someone said
Wish I could change the words that were spoken
Bringing peace to ones heart fixing now what is broken
My soul that would feed and breathe her all in
Today all is lost and too second wind
You see we need her more than she knows
She brought to the table what helped me to grow
In love and in hope, in lifes ugly soap
Where love and forgiveness from hands mine eloped
