There's more to me than meets the eye
The part of me that you make sigh
The nook and crannies you found on me
The ones that miss sincerity
Traces where fingers roamed
Upon my neck that you would own
That ran through forest of gray hair
That learned and miss of you once there
The laugh that brought upon me smiles
The ones we had not for awhile
These things many will take for granted
But not our lips your first kiss planted
Savored the moment though shake we would
Returned the favor on front lawn stood
More for something on that day
Warm were your kisses long visits you payed
If only you knew how they play still inside
My mind and my heart on swing sat outside
You'd know why today I've fallen for you
Fallen in love just shy of mad too
Space I will you give so not to be shown
The door to your heart one day maybe own
If only you knew you'd also know too
These last few lines written would bring me back to
Where we'd like to be at this very second
As heart mine won't shut up, and you it does beckon
