And then yet again...
The tick and the tock -
the fun and the shock
has worn through
all the weather...
Sometimes it has been
sheer - sharp and keen -
and even
shades of darkness...
It so often rolls
and then it unfolds
a sweet and sudden
explosion...
And then yet again
it turns round the bend
and leads us into
adventure...
At other times
it falls and it climbs
and folds us
into laughter...
It always just knows
and still ever grows
and fills us high
with vibrance...
