Recuerdame, remember me
The child in man in eyes you'd see
Who would give up eternally
His soul so that with him you'd be
Obsession is an ugly way
To think of love that's gone astray
But understand why one would feel
It's overkill when all you feel
Recuerdame, as I will you
Who brought your light and would take too
A part of me I'd give no other
Even to her who calls me brother
Remember me for who I was
In love with you all just because
It made me feel alive again
Yes, this and more through you Godsend
Recuerdame for these goodbyes
That swell with pain, heartfelt and sighs
All because of faults my own
Maybe I was meant to be alone
It rains today outside again
The sky too cries to me it lends
Its ear to share our loneliness
To spread this wealth we both confess
Recuerdame as I will you
Three times I tried to post this too
It almost seems the GOD of writes
Has turned his face and me now spites
Recuerdame, remember me
For love I keep and have for thee
No matter where, I'll still be here
Recuerdame not far but near
