 once upon a time

UN-- -FORGOTTEN

Years have drifted by and the
Weeds have grown high above your
Grave and you, having passed through
Heavens gate, know you have not laid forgotten
Your soul carried on yet I could not settle

Roamed around seeking to meet with you once again
Could not accept Gods decision to embrace you
Now that peace has entered my soul I can stand
Were your shadows lie all around, and let memories
Of your wisdom flood into the river of my mind
I have spoken with you in dreams, though always
I would not accept and believe in the soul.

Now as I sweep these weeds aside I realise the only
one who was never with you was me.Upon accepting
That you are with our God peace, contentment, and
Happiness has entered my soul ceasing my roaming
The weeds shall never grow steadily ever again, knowing,
And accepting that all is as it should be, you are living
The life we are all promised:-eternity
