As I roam the night
Always searching for the light
Tales of scripture fill my head
Be brave, but my feet are lead
I believe that an angel walks beside
Each step I take she's there to guide
The stars are glittering, the moon is high
Nighttime is the best time for roaming

My mind asks me, Why do you do this?

Things were fine when you were working

On the Hill at night it's so peaceful
I come here more and more

All I know is that it's here on the Hill
I hear coyotes howling, gives me a chill
Angel stay beside me, just in case I fall asleep
I'm so tired of all this roaming
