Mis Suenos Del Corazon
Somewhere, not there, she came to be a place
of refuge and strength...weakness mine
Seen but once, not much thought of; then I would come to be engulfed
by flames of desire which cold hands came to know first
Tap, tap, tap a write more shield would cause me to turn
away; yet curiosity killed this cat, more dog in nature
Her words jumped out at me like cougar on prey
and I made a meal of myself willingly, for she was all woman
for a man who hungered far too long
Feast on me, I, once beast of burdens urged her on...but before you do,
hablame... and she did
Every word spoken, once written, bit me and allowed me to breathe
again, more her than air, sensuous...an understatement
She whispered to me and I became sustenance for her
and she for me; who needs steak when you can have each other?
Drove like a mad man on a mission before it was called off...
and surpassed the rewards of the mile high club, high on her
There, tenderness I came to know as hands touched a face and not a screen...
she was real and right before my eyes stood mis suenos del corazon
Time became my enemy as it asked for me to check out,
for all dreams do come to an end...but no! Not with her.
She was there and still here where her scent lingers in me
Mis suenos del corazon, enrobed in my yellow t-shirt that allows
her to feed and breathe of me and I of her...
