 Of Prized Posessions and Love
It was to be the worst day of my life
There at the edge of the pond where I found him
stood all three of us

Her Green eyes never looked so good

To choose between slimy skin or big wet kisses, my dilemma

Waiting, arms crossed, foot tapping, she spoke

Well? Who's it going to be, me?... or him!

A tear came to my eye as I deliberated silently
Then a thought came to mind and I made my move

With arms extending outward I offered him, to her
with hope to keep him still

I felt for sure his constant gulp would win him sympathy
and his large innocent eyes would win her over, alas

She shrieked and ran off screaming, leaving a trail of dust
and my heart behind that day as Louie exclaimed

Rib-it! rib it! rib it!

Aahhhhhh, bliss was mine to have again and so...

We lived happily ever after

The End
