Live Boldly
Cast your bread into the lake,
No wave will the water make;
You shall find in many days,
On top of the surface lays.
Divide what you have by eight,
Unknown disasters await;
If the clouds are full of rain,
A loss is less of a strain.
The Lord knows which is best,
If a tree falls east or west;
And it will stay where it fell,
Rotting as the termites dwell.
Watching the wind will not sow,
Waiting for stopping to blow;
And waiting for clouds to weep,
The harvest you shall not reap.
Same as with the breath of life,
Entering in a world of strife;
By exiting from the womb,
And later laid in the tomb.
We never can understand,
All that the Lord does command;
Or all that this life may mean,
Much of it is still unseen.
