Ethereal Moments The Poetry of Donavon Scott Vinson
Praying for Survival
Upon the frothy blue-grey waves
of the endless sea under a callous
burning sun I endlessly bob fearfully
up and down with no particular
place to go as holes slowly seep water
and sharks ravenously circling about my
shaky little life raft I bow my head to
earnestly pray for help hoping to survive
the tragic shipwreck of my mighty sailing vessel.
