 Of Love Wished For
Long have been the sad love songs
Wept endlessly, most unsung

Remorse made it's home here, camping out
nightly just outside your door

It crushed hope and dreams along with
the Tin Mans heart

Many desperate hours passed leaving their
mark for days, turned months, turned years

You know that feeling, of emptiness
that punched you below the belt and laughed
at your withering soul...oops! did that hurt?

Then love, true love comes, calling you out
Picking you up, making whole again
Time for you to rise and share of it

Time for trust, for sincere you were
before someone stole your heart

She would come along to fix whats broken
Picking up every fragile piece with care
With soft warm hands, a whisper in ear,
a kiss to die for

This is how she makes me feel and of wishes come true
