The Value of Righteousness
A false balance is disgusting,
As it makes you feel distrusting;
An abomination to God,
Believing that you are a fraud.
Accurate weights are a delight,
Brings upon favor to His sight;
For honesty is the best cure,
To be upright and being pure.
Arrogance will bring on the pride,
That causes corruption inside;
Then it will be bringing to shame,
The tongue and lips that do proclaim.
But wisdom will always remain,
To the humbled that will abstain;
From conversing where it is hot,
With one whose lips and tongue have rot.
Integrity will be the guide,
For someone without any pride;
But hypocrisy is failure,
When having a bad behavior.
The Lord God shall ensure to soothe,
In making the righteous road smooth;
With no detours within their path,
And being spared of any wrath.
