Teenagers and Technology
These days I am noticing what in time can be a grave situation
That problem is how to get a teenage engage in conversation
They seem to have fallen victim the world of technology
And this has blunted some of their live socially.
Imagine going to someone house to make a stop
There is the teenager all focused on his lap-top
Playing games or checking out what can be purchased on the net
You will sit there for an hour and the person has not utter a word yet.
I have seen some get on the public transportation
Flop down in the seat and with very little hesitation
Reach where ever for the cell phone that distracter
And commence to play some game, or mess with the calculator
Then some move along the road in such a plod
As their ears are plugged, listened to the music from that I-POD
It is amazing how something so small can play so loudly
I am sure they are oblivious to what is around them totally.
Here is come to me as no surprise that communication text
Some things are happened that can be amazing and make one perplex
Those abbreviations and language formula us in their communicating
Have been a feature they also employed in their essay writing.
I know technology is around and they will be the population targeted
They should try to manage usage , and let that time be budgeted
Find time to make some personal and verbal communication
Not can take the place of that meeting and social integration.
Yes this is the world they face and thing seem that easy
But I hope they would not let such make them get lazy
I know in earlier time the people living in many a home
Had to stand in line when the teenage was on the phone.
