CHASE A STAR
Morning and Evening Stars (Mercury and Venus, respectively)
I wake to cobalt backdrops
Carrying stars into my day
Thoughts dash across an ocean
Loving words kissed on their way
Spectacular dawn is rising now
Bringing forth new life to share
Giving a chance for us to enjoy
Each other's true love and care
You're my morning star I say
Brightest affection in my sky
Ours to share the moon and sun
Desire of Mercury I'll not deny
Holding out my hand I touch
Fiery passion with burning desire
Mercury never forsakes the sun
Keeping senses truly inspired
We're chasing stars to capture
Beautiful wishes upon bestow
As days surrender to night's glory
Evening star does steal the show
Ah Venus …our nighttime pleasure
Western sparkle in faith ignite
Promising loyalty this special star
Retiring sun's precious light
Let's chase a star forever my love
Together Mercury and Venus rise
Keeping our sparkle of truth because
Their light shines love in our eyes
