 The diamond in the rough
Your so wrong
To believe i aint strong
You try so hard, but you can't play this kinda pong
I had life so tough
I was so rough
Inside
But i had this diamond that kept me holding on the tide
Couldn't stand the ride
But sometimes it was smooth
Sometimes it was bumpy, dj turn on the groove
But u never saw how hard i fought
That you'd never thought
This sweet, innocent, down to earth, wouldn't harm a fly kinda girl would say goodbye
I fought all around the maze, thorns on an obstacle
Look at me from tricycle to bicycle
Hadn't you thought
This is a a girl who can't be bought
In a layer of lies
I don't care of your cries
They seem false like the ones i seen before
I fought my life in war
Inside my heart was this diamond i came out of the rough
Still stand tough
Its wrong
To believe i aint strong
You lost your pong
The clocks chimed bong, bong, bong
Its time to say goodbye
Don't tell me i never did try
So hard i did cry
But its over
Now move over
