The Want Ad
The very need before my eyes, all good
the ad read
WANTED
Someone to share dreams and
of purpose forever
Warm heart a must especially on cold nights
Must be willing to travel when the need arises
but not lose their way getting here from there
Gentle hands required to stroke one to sleep
especially when tears cried need to be wiped away
Kleenex will be made available
Long walks through fields of Gold and forests Green
to share loving conversations
Love struck stares in eyes and upon Blue skies
required on grassy carpet to share intimate moments
Picnic basket will be provided
Nightly foot rubs from a hard days work, additional
body massage to seal the deal
Toasting of life with a glass of wine and kisses
savored of it's vintage
Forgiving heart when mistakes are made when
making up is in their best interests to
stay and be wanted
Those with no sentiment need not apply for
this ad is not for you
Room and board will be provided if interested
But please, no one night stands!
Last but not least a heart to share forever
For when time comes to say goodbye and you cannot
follow, memories of this ad and us you'll keep
