"The Decision"
A large Cross was removed today
From a church, where people gather
In not wanting to offend anyone
They decided . . .It didn't matter
From, so very many places
God's name has been taken
A lot ignore, and turn their faces
From Jesus, who has been forsaken
It is "He" that has brought us thus far
It is only "He" that can change all things
It is "He" that can see, near and far . . .
And it's Judgement, that "He" brings
Remove His name, remove the Cross
Do whatever you feel, you must. . .
But in the end, HE is the big Boss
And, can turn this earth into dust
Do they want to see, God and His wrath
The way "Sodom and Gomorrah" met it's end
Will they pound this down-trodden path
And chance what God. . . Might send
When I saw that Cross, coming down
Tears filled my eyes, I felt so sad . . .
But . . '"He" is still wearing His crown
And He'll weed out, the good from the bad
All we can do, is be faithful and pray
And know . . .That our God does reign
For in the end, He'll have the last say
His enemies, will have nothing to gain!
