God is Invisible
My complaint is bitter today,
I try hard to control my sigh;
But temptations want me to stray,
As confusion does make me cry.
If I just knew where to find God,
I would go out to where He lives;
For cleansing just where I am flawed,
Because I know that He forgives.
I would present myself to Him,
Having the arguments to make;
For my thoughts have made me so grim,
And I know He will not forsake.
I know what He will answer me,
Because I know He understands;
His wisdom is able to see,
I still abide by His commands.
So as the scriptures have foretold,
And because I have passed the test;
I will come out as pure as gold,
Since He knows I have done my best.
I leave not His commands behind,
Nor from the Word do I depart;
Because I know He reads my mind,
And treasured His Word in my heart.
