Driftwood

Responding to an unspoken assumption
Stay, please?
Is it...
An obligation?

No.
Business is pressing.

So?
So...
Your world is travel?
Instruct me, then.
Tell me of
The ways of driftwood.

Emotional economy.
There's no reprieve.
It's your time to leave.

So hurry, please.
The waves are waiting.
