UNEXPECTED HERO
**Wishing for every man and woman to find their hero!**
Heroes come
in all shapes and sizes,
with all manner of abilities…
even Wonder Woman needs
her Superman to save her from herself…
So many false starts in love,
so many selfish villains took her heart
thinking only of their own needs and agendas;
damaged, the softer side of this strong woman
became something she abhorred and hid,
until her armor was almost impenetrable…
She nearly turned to stone inside,
until one day a true hero wrote her his sentiments…
And he had almost passed her by,
thinking that her trepidation was snobbery…
He couldn't have been more wrong he was to discover.
At first she was leery and guarded,
ready to defend from the expected deceit
she'd grown so accustomed to from past suitors…
but slowly, with his open ways,
the strength of his words,
the vulnerability he showed,
and with Superhuman love he gave,
she grew to love him…
and the power of their love
just increases every day with
each thought shared,
each word exchanged,
each I love you spoken…
Now they feel invincible –
Two heroes facing obstacles as one,
setting out to rescue each other
from the certain doom
they faced alone
ready to take on
all villains and
help others to
find their own
happiness too…
You never know who
YOUR hero could be…
Just open your heart and your eyes
before they fly away like a speeding bullet…
