 LOVE, I SAY
Maybe I don't say it often
Perhaps you don't hear me at all
It might seem oddly old-fashioned
To speak words that simply enthral
Sometimes it isn't the right moment
A world full of angst and woe
But to reap the happiness we yearn for
Is dependent on the seeds we sow
Our heads in a cloud and worry
About mundane trivia of life
A heart leaden with sorrow
A path of pain and strife
Take a moment each day to reflect on
The goodness that abounds
Always err on the positive
React to hidden sights and sounds
