My Very Need
Days have passed my need becomes
Monstrous hunger in scope bar none
She is what floats my boat then some
I'm sure when read you too have one
They share a common bond with you
Become more part of all things new
But pains when you are far from them
Almost feeling you've been condemned
Your crime to love what makes you feel
Your very need, moments you steal
Their breath away, they too of yours
Much suffering two hearts endure
Breath of hope you leave for now
It fills the void in thought somehow
When dream you do upon waking
The morn after there yours for taking
and so you breathe real deep these days
for now it's all but soon the way
Will be forever held in my arms
The storms have passed, love here now calms
My very need
