I have been at the Northwest Writers Convention
Shortly before my hard drive crashed
My longtime friend and computer geek

I understand she does read these now and then
He worked miracles and I have lost nothing
At the conference I realize the
Amazing the talented writers I met
Shake hands with the real pro's not prose
Good news: I was asked by a major publisher
not vanity press to submit 50 pages of my manuscript
Immediately following asked to submit by
a second well know publisher to submit
the complete manuscript and draft of followup book
I thank the members of poetry poem for any critique
that in the years have been given to me
You guys do not know what is in the head of a writer
Many times at the point of giving up
One of you came in and gave me a critique
that kept me writing. as you know that is why we write
If someone knows Terry give him my love
I also note some good friends are having problems
health wise and my prayers are with you for recovery
We are all one when we lose a family member
My poet brothers and sisters remember that and you are not alone
