A Bicycle Dreams

A bicycle dreams
His wheels go round in continuous circles.
And his pedals move,
He needs no rider
To travel to his heart's desire.
A bicycle dreams
Of bridges to cross,
Hills and mountains to climb.
He moves
Cutting the wind.
He needs no sleep,
No water
Only the hunger to ride
The open country
Making ruts in muddy trails.
The smell of open air,
Under the ever-changing blanket of sky.
A bicycle dreams
Without boundaries,
His handlebars thrust up into a smile.
Memories of a long ride
Welded into his proud frame
