If Love Were Mine to Have
The past seems more like the present
Where love escaped slipping through fingers mine

Prayers go out to You who made me who I am today
To your ears only who gives me strength this day

How soon Father before you grant me happiness sought
Ever so elusive, yet playing out whats left of life
empty of peace I've come to know

How much does a heart have to break before
it is no more?

Is it your wish for me to go without?

Forgive me for my selfishness Father
I cannot answer what your perfect will

Carnage becomes relevant to my heart that
seeks to be one with her and so I chase

This pursuit of happiness never ending
within reach, so close yet so far

Hunger grows and my strength fades

My doubts join the festivities of the lonely
Where love never was or ever will be

If love were mine to have it would be her who makes me new

Looking into Heaven Pictures, Images and Photos

Through her your grace has allowed me to have
