How can I know of truth and the lies they bring?
when it is only my truth, those lies… conceal
how can I know of hope and despair when lost?
when it is only false hope I'm desperate to feel
how can I be understanding of life and fated choice?
when I have lived only with the choices laid down
how can I be of faith and the walls it builds?
when I see the destruction it leaves on the ground
how can I know of love and the pain love shows?
when it is only my heart I feel broken in two
how can I know of peace and the peace I seek?
