 She Was A Stranger

She was a stranger mongst her peers
They never saw her tears
She kept them all inside
Till the very day she died

If only they all had seen
Or heard her silent screams
Of reaching out for help
The feelings that she felt

She was a helpless soul in need
Whose broken heart would bleed
Until she had enough
She gave up on true love

She lay still on her back
For the people to look at
So peaceful lying there
If only we had cared

She was a stranger mongst her friends
Until the very end
But now it is too late
A simple life lay waste
