Come little children don't you hear Jesus calling?
Many are not at rest they're stumbling and falling
Long ago on Calvary Jesus paid the price for all
Come little children won't you hearken to His call?
He's waiting and watching to fill you with His love
It hurts Him to see you suffer looking down from above
There's nothing in this world that is worth your soul
He's calling out to you" Come and be made whole"
He's patient ,kind and loving as He waits for you
His love is not forceful but His will we must choose
To be heirs in His kingdom we're to pick up our cross too
Make Him Lord of your life and He will guide you through
You have not cause you ask not You're still running the show
He gives grace to the humble it is written for all to know
Many say they know Him yet He is last in their life
When He is to be first to remove sorrow, pain and strife
To get to know anyone it takes a personal relationship
It will only come by spending quality time with them
The bible is His love letter He has written to you
He already knows You He wants you to know Him too
He has even counted every hair on your head
He knows when you're awake and when you go to bed
He hears through out the day every word you've said
It is by His word He wants your life to be led
Do you not know He even bottles your tears?
He knows your comings and goings down through the years
Yet many don't know His voice for they take no time to hear
Not giving Him time in your day makes your love for Him clear
While going about your day doing your own thing
It's grieving the holy spirit that He has placed within
He is longing for a personal relationship with His children
Yet He will not force Himself upon anyone of them
Have you or will you truly make Him Lord of your life?
He's coming soon you know to rapture up His bride
Will He say to you "Well done good and faithful servant"
Or will you be among those He calls worker of iniquity depart
The Creator of your your life that gives you each breath
Wants to give you eternal life even after death
Life is but a vapor and it will soon be past
It's only what's done for Christ that will truly last
