Walking Next To You
I reach for Your hand
and its always there
I have no fear
You hear every prayer
On my dark road of life
You are my only lite
When I'm frightened
it is You holding me tight
When in question
You show me where to go
When in need
it is from You which my blessing flow
Your sacred book
I will never pound
From my lips words of You
spoken with only a loving sound
Oh I have been criticized
for the way I pass your word
I am told because I don't quote scripture
my message is not heard
Well I will continue to go
where I feel You lead
It is not my place to question
another's heart given deed.
In Your foot prints I will follow
my Precious Savior
Being very thankful
I am responsible for only my behavior
