HERE COMES SUMMER

THE YARD IS READY TO PUT ON ITS SHOW,
THE FLOWERS WEEDED THE GRASS READY TO MOW
THE MULCH IS LAID IN THE FLOWER BEDS
THE POND IS CLEAN, THE FISH ARE FED.
THE HANGING PLANTS ARE ON THE PORCH
THE CANDLE'S LIT IN THE HANGING TORCH,

THE WATERFALL IS SINGING ITS HAPPY SONG
THE SWING AND ROCKERS AWAIT WHO COMES ALONG
THE TREES ARE FULL OF SINGING BIRDS
MOST CHEERFUL MUSIC YOU'VE EVER HEARD
NOW-- IF WE CAN KEEP THE MOSQUITOES AWAY
WE SHOULD HAVE A PLEASANT, RELAXING DAY
