I remain grounded
In space and time
In the Earth
In the Galaxy
In the Universe
In myself
I remain.
I no longer
Need the spotlight
of the smaller
Stage like
Some smaller
Younger part
Once did.
I am content
In myself
& sad for
Those who
Still need
To puff
Themselves up
To feel good
& large
Enough...
I lost that
Need with
My old
Name.
I am
Good enough as
I am.
I grounded an
Entire valley,
Reached up with
Spirit to ground
the humans
Who scattered
Across the land
Unrealized.
Like Sunday
Christians,
Pagans forgot
to Ground and
Center if they
Are not in
Circle.
I am Sad
That I have
to shield my
Camper to
Sleep in the
Mountains.
So the cry
of my fellows
Comes through
A friend
The Sound
of the People
Beseeching the Divine
to Intervene,
So I do.
The influence
of a couple
of planets
Seems so
Small,
Compared
To all that is
Swirling about
In the Galaxy
& the universe.
I have a unique
Perspective,
One that sees
The Earth
And all of
Her grand
Elements
In perspective
To the billions
of Worlds
Who swirl about
In distant but
Connected currents.
I return to
Earth,
To the valley,
I listen to the
Cheers of the
People as One,
and know
That I have
Reached them
Even if they
Did not know
it was me.
I don't need
The smaller
Spotlight,
Like I once did,
When I went
By my old
name.
