OIL SPILL

A SEABIRD SWAM IN THE OCEAN,
WHEN IT WAS CLEAN AND NEAT
THEY SAY-- IT'S OIL GUSHING FROM DEEP IN THE SAND
NOW--HERE It' s COVERED FROM HEAD TO FEET

WHERE ARE THE KEEPERS OF OUR LAND?

AND-- WHAT OF THE FISHES OF THE SEA?
ARE THEY THINKING OF WHAT IS BECOMING OF THEM?
THE SHRIMP AND OYSTERS ARE FEELING THE PAIN,
WILL THIS WORLD, EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN?

THINK ABOUT IT, KEEPERS OF OUR LAND

some fish can swim to get away from the spill
but there are others that never can
there's no where to go, no safe place to reach,
so- there they lay dying on an oily beach

DO SOMETHING-- KEEPERS OF OUR LAND

thank god for the people, lending a hand
who're cleaning the birds and fish that they can
please god, don't let this happen, ever again
let this be a lesson to oil drillers and man.

MAKE THEM TRUELY--BE " THE KEEPERS OF THE LAND".
