-- SECRET GARDEN--

IN OUR BACKYARD-- THERE'S FANTASY,
THAT SMALL CHILDREN THRIVE UPON.
THERE'S PATHS THAT LEAD YOU ALL AROUND
TO A PLACE WHERE THERE'S A POND.

AND IN THE FLOWERS, FAIRIES HIDE
AND PEEK OUT FROM EVERYWHERE.
THERE'S FROGS AND LITTLE FIRE FLIES
BY THE POND--JUST RECLINING THERE

ON THE GATE, WITH A HOLE AT THE BOTTOM
IS FOUND A LITTLE ELF DOOR
AND A WEE LITTLE FENCE WITH FLOWERS.
WHO COULD ASK FOR ANY THING MORE

A LITTLE SMILING ELF SITS THERE
TO GUARD IT THROUGH THE DAY.
THE LEGEND GOES--- THAT LATE AT NIGHT,
THE ELFS AND FAIRIES PLAY.

THEY DANCE AROUND THE SOLAR LIGHTS
DRINK NECTAR FROM THE SLEEPING FLOWERS
AND HAVE THEMSELVES A MERRY TIME
UNTIL THE EARLY MORNING HOURS

NOW--- WHO'S TO SAY IT ISN'T SO
IF YOU WEREN'T THERE--HOW DO YOU KNOW
I KNOW-- BECAUSE THE ELFS AND FAIRIES TOLD ME SO.
