`Lassie Come Home` A legend To recall

The living spirit of the most famous of all
He lives in the heart of two young men
Who grew up loving Lassie as faithful friend
~`♥`~`~`~`♥`~
Dennis as a young lad of mine years ago
Lived with the legend of Lassie the TV Show
Not once did he miss an episode without a cry
Tears streaming when lassie waved `good-bye`
~`♥`~`~`~`♥`~
Today is his birthday, 12Th of August, 2010
How time has passed since the legend back then
A grown man today with a heart of yesterday
Learned from Lassie's brave rescues of the day

LASSIE Pictures, Images and Photos*****Dennis, a dear poet friend of mine today
Loves his faithful Lassie who's gone away
A pet spirit so precious in the heavens above
Sends his `bow`wow` to Dennis with love

Sunday is his birthday, 15 of August, 2010
A grown man with a broken heart needing to mend
Missing his faithful friend of days gone by
Never once being able to say `Good-bye`

`So-Long` Lassie from both of these guys`
Remembering virtues taught with tears in their eyes
`Lassie Come Home` will forever a legend be
Whether in ones heart or an episode of ancient TV

So `HAPPY BIRTHDAY` From Lassie and Me
May Your `Special Day` be Heartbreak Free
My Prayers With Love Are Offered Up Today
For These Two Young Men Who Have Stolen My Day!

Is it rare coincidence or fate of destiny
that both Dennis'es  with birth dates in August, although years and worlds apart,
have touched my life with `Lassie`
who also was my favorite TV show many years ago!
