A Falling Feather (wings2fly2heaven)
Inspired by Glasshouse/ Abby Lynn's recent feedback note..... thank you : )
Brushed by the air of the feather's descent
A quiet calm overwhelms sun setting rays.
Tips of fingers reach out
O to touch but once!
We trace the horizon's edge.
Upon this permafrost field I stand…..
With perseverance
An untamed will.
My shadow finds refuge in the light of ages….
For my essence is sustained!
My feathers fall softly with cooperative duty to this natural world.
And though these wings ever so often shed…….
I fly
