STROLLING

~ STROLLING ~

As the tide rushes in
And swirls around my feet
It feels cool on my skin
After the warmth of the sun.

I stand and watch the sun
As it starts to go down
Graciously sinking lower
In a blaze of glory.

The day is closing its eyes
As the heat slowly subsides,
Darkness will now soon fall
And the day will be done.

The tide is rising higher
It now reaches my knees,
Think I will take a walk
Along the water`s edge.

Waves lap gently on the shore
The warm breeze brushing my skin,
It`s like paradise on earth
The sun is now sinking fast.

Soon I will have to go
To let nature take its course
And do what comes naturally
By the pull of the moon.

The tide will reclaim the sand
Covering it beneath its waves,
And then the tide will turn
Leaving it bare once more.
