Words unspoken, Words unread!
Home once again...............
Lavender hillsides,
Buttercup vales.
Over-grown pastures,
Old wives tales.
Dogs at the pig sty,
Farmers on hand.
Fragrance of nature,
At the place where I stand.
Butterflies flutter,
Bees, buzzing 'round.
Foxes returning,
To their homes underground.
Horses stood grazing,
Birds in the trees.
A sheep dogs confusion,
Sat scratching its flees.
Meadows of poppies,
Leaves lush and green.
Sounds of the water,
From a slow running stream.
Farmers with sheepdogs,
Old wives with tales.
A land full of beauty,
I am back home in Wales
