A Light in Darkness
When life seems rather dark
and it's getting hard to see,
when you think you failed
at the person you could be.
Look beyond the highest cloud
to a place of His pure love,
the Lord in His caring ways
will help you from above.
He knows you much better
than anybody on this earth,
you are a special person
and you are of a great worth.
Say a prayer and have faith
that you will make it through,
Jesus suffered miserably
to take these pains from you.
If you cry troubled tears
from a life that's hard to bear,
take it to the Lord in thought
and His peace will find you there.
