 Hauntingly Beautiful
Memories of your touch
Still haunt my
Nervous system
As shivers toss my
Spine this way
And that
As I convulse
Whilst driving
Down the road…
The scenery has nothing
To do with you
But my body
Gives me no recourse
Other than to
Clench the steering wheel
Like I did
The bed sheets
Two days ago.

I want to
Give to you
What you gave
So readily
To me…
Hands slipping
Between
Thighs
With the rhythm
Of stormy
Ocean waves,
Smiles overtop
Of my face
Like a tigress
On her first
Kill…
To serve love
And passion
Together
At the same meal,
On the altar
Of my body.

I cannot wait
For the next
Memory we will
Make,
So I can drive
Again down
The road
Pleasantly disturbed
By something
Hauntingly beautiful.
