The Truth in His Word
I will give thanks with all my heart,
That His Word will never depart;
While making music to praise,
Up to the sky my arms I raise.
I bow down within the temple,
Worshipping with other people;
Who are giving their thanks and grace,
Humbled in a holy place.
Mercy and truth is in His name,
So I must praise as I proclaim;
His Word to the ends of the earth,
For others to know of rebirth.
His promise is much greater than,
Anything accomplished by man;
That is forming a perfect bond,
For a life that goes well beyond.
So I relinquished my control,
That His Spirit strengthens my soul,
Allowing me to be so bold,
In order for His Word be told.
The Lord does anything for me,
As the best servant I can be;
His mercy endures forever,
That no man could ever sever.
