grandmas apron

grandma always wore an apron around her waist:
it was just a plain old apron with white lace:
she wore a special apromn for her garden work outside:
my grandmas garden was her pride:
she also had an apron for work around her house:
she always wore it over her blouse;
in the kitchen grandma she was queen:
her kitchen was so perfect immaculate and cleaner than clean:
never was there a dirty dish in her sink:
she would be washing it as soon as you finished your drink:
her apron had pockets all along both sides:
in my grandmas apron you never knew what goodies for the grandkids she had to surprise:
grandma she was just plain and simple:
she had a sweet smile and a dimple:
she would cook up a storm:
her cooking was far from the norm:
in the winter the kitchen was warm as toast:
once you tasted a slice of apple pie to the neighbors you would brag and boast:
her her bisquits and home made bread :
were the best ever people always said:
i picture grandma wearing her apron:
always catering to everyone:
i can hardly remember if i ever saw her sit down:
she was always in her apron working around:
her garden was plentiful and beautiful as well:
she gave everything away never wanted to sell:
when you visited her home:
her great hospitality was shown:
her garden and homemade cooking was well known:
i remember grandma brantner well even now im grown:
she never had too much time to talk:
i recall she had a limp when she walked:
ten children she had of her own:
her true love and sweet smile to everyone was known:
grandma was so organized and each and everything had its exact place:
she never was in a hurry but always kept her steady pace;
i dont even hardly remember seeing grandma sit down:
she was always busy wearing her apron working around:
the few times i did see her sitting in a chair:
she was sewing needle point making a table cloth there:
in her home every little thing was hand made by her:
she was a talented lady for sure:
never a bad or harsh word about my grandma could anyone ever say:
she was a hard working lady wearing her apron everyday:
