Don't sit in judgement
picking apart my every word,
just think about what was meant
when this statement was heard.
A government for the people by the people
i myself take that to heart,
and i believe deep in my soul
that the people should play the biggest part.
I'm not proud to be an american
tho i used to be,
so much goes on that's a sin
in a land that once was free.
Oh it's free if you can afford
to live in luxury,
and if you illegally come aboard
the sky's the limit for thee.
I'm not saying the less fortunate
don't deserve a chance,
but don't let them on their high horse sit
until they pay the piper to teach the freedom dance.
With freedom comes a price
that in some manner we all must pay,
and it would just be nice
if we could all get to dance and play.
But the lazy and the rich
have freedom by the score,
and the means which
they got it we the people must explore!
A government for the(good of) people by the people
MEANS..........NOTHING.............ANYMORE!
