MARSH FISHER MEN

THERE'S A MARSH OVER IN ASIA
WHERE MEN WHO LIVE THERE- FISH
THEY CAST THEIR NETS UPON THE WATER
HOPING THEY GET THEIR WISH.

MEANWHILE AS THEY ARE WAITING,
THERE'S ALWAYS NETS TO REPAIR
AND IN THE SKY OVERHEAD-
PELICANS FLY THROUGH THE AIR.

THE DAY IS HOT AND SWEALTERY
AND DRAGON-FLIES SKIM THE  WATER
THE MEN CHECK THE NETS FOR FISH
THEY CAN EAT OR MAYBE USE TO BARTER

IT'S A HARD LIFE, AS YOU MIGHT GUESS
IT'S HAND TO MOUTH EVERY DAY
IT DOESN'T LEAVE TIME FOR ANYTHING ELSE
THEY'RE  TIRED BY THE END OF DAY.
