A FROG AND A TOAD

THERE WAS A FROG WHO WAS SO LONELY
BECAUSE HE FELT HE LOOKED TOO HOMELY

HE'D SIT UPON A LILY PAD
THINKING WHAT A DULL LIFE HE HAD

WHEN ALONG CAME MR. TOAD
HOPPING IN FROM THE DUSTY ROAD

ALL WARTY AND FAT AND SINGING HIS SONG
AS HE KEPT HOPPING RIGHT ALONG

 MR. FROG WAS QUITE SURPRISED
TO SEE THE TOAD WITH BULGING EYES

HIS COLOR WAS A DRABBY BROWN
YET HE WAS GLAD TO BE GETTING AROUND.

HE SAID " LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT--MY MAN,
PUT ON A SMILE AND JUST PRETEND,

YOU'LL BE WELL ON YOUR WAY
 TO MAKING A NEW FRIEND.
