THE  XMAS ELF

THERE'S A LITTLE ELF, WHO LIVES
IN THE WALL WHERE OUR CHIMNEY STANDS
SANTA TOLD HIM TO LISTEN THERE
WITH A NOTEBOOK AND PEN IN HIS HANDS

HIS JOB IS TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR ACTIONS
THE GOOD AND BAD AS WELL.
EACH TIME HE HEARS YOU MIS-BEHAVE,
HE NOTES THAT SO WHEN SANTA CALLS,, HE'LL TELL

HE STARTS RIGHT AFTER THANKSGIVING,
TO KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU DO
SO-- TRY TO BE THE BEST YOU CAN
SO SANTA HEARS GOOD THINGS ABOUT YOU

SOMETIME IF YOU DO SOMETHING WRONG
AND THE ELF WILL SURELY HEAR,
GO TAP ON THE WALL AND APPOLOGIZE
AND BE GOOD THE REST OF THE YEAR.

EACH TIME, THAT YOU ARE NAUGHTY
A GIFT WILL BE TAKEN AWAY
BUT--IF YOU'RE GOOD,YOU WILL GET THEM ALL
AND HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS DAY!
