X'MAS HANGOVER

IT'S THE HOUR AFTER MIDNIGHT
WHEN ALL THE WORK IS DONE,
THAT'S WHEN SANTA'S SLEEPING
AND THE ELVES AND DEER HAVE FUN.

THE SNOWMAN DOES A MELT-DOWN
WHILE THE REINDEER PRANCE AND SPLASH,
AND THE ELVES PREPARE SOME PIZZA
AND THE OTHERS TAKE OUT THE TRASH

THE X'MAS TREES ARE TWINKLING
WITH ALL THEIR COLORED LIGHTS
THE COOKS ARE IN THE BACKYARD
HAVING ICY SNOW-BALL FIGHTS

THE FIREPLACE IS STOKED AND ROARING
DEAR OLD SANTA SITS THERE SNORING
MRS. SANTA MAKES THE REINDEER MIND
WITH A GENTLE SLAP TO THEIR BEHIND.

THE PARTY'S HAPPILY  UNDER WAY
BUT-- OH BOY - WAIT AND SEE
THERE'LL BE NO ASPRINS WAITING THERE,
TO CURE YOUR MISERY
