SUFFERING IN SILENCE






SUFFERING IN SILENCE





We sit and wait patiently
Waiting for our time to come,
We see what goes on around
Yet still we sit there quite dumb.







We do not like to complain
So we just sit quiet and wait,
Our turn will come we`re sure
Even though it will be late.







Why are we always the last?
At least that`s how it seems,
I`m here, why can`t you see
Our brain silently screams.







Sometimes it just doesn`t pay
To be so meek and mild,
Well maybe some day
We`ll get all worked up and riled.







Then maybe we`ll be first
Instead of always the last,
What a change that would be
It would make a good contrast.
